I thought I’d pass along a few interesting websites for travelers.

www.seatguru.com gives you the layout of most domestic and international carriers seat maps and indicates the best and worst seats on each type of aircraft. There is nothing worse than getting an exit row with extra legroom and finding out the seatback does not recline. Your reservation should give you the type of aircraft, then go to seatguru.com and you’ll know which seat to select.

www.toandfromtheairport.com is written by an airline pilot gives you all the info on cabs, trains, shuttles and other forms of transport from airports to city centers worldwide. This site alone will save you hundreds of dollars on travel.

And if your on a really tight budget, check this out:
www.sleepinginairports.com tells you which airports are safe, have comfortable quiet seats or benches, and where they are located within the airport. (Good info for a long layover too). In some less than developed countries, it may even be nicer than low end hotels or hostels.
